Abstract

Communication is a vital factor for organizational success and can be considered as a social and cognitive process through which information is exchanged between individuals and creates meaning. How to better understand, analyze and evaluate communicative processes is a major challenge for communication researchers .The purpose of this research is to identify and explain the enabling components of communicative maturity in Iran's government organizations. The current research is a qualitative study and its research design is thematic analysis, and based on the Brown and Clark method, it was used as a research method in six stages, and 16 academic and organizational experts were interviewed in a semi-structured manner.A total of 56 open codes,20 organizing themes and 4 comprehensive themes were extracted from the research findings. Finally,the component of communicative capabilities, the component of organizational factors, the component of soft skills of human resources and the component of hard skills of human resources were identified as the main enabling components of the communicative maturity of government organizations. The components and enabling factors of communicative maturity can contribute significantly to the development of effective communication, the evaluation of organizational communication, the improvement of communication performance and the progress of organizations.
