چکیده
امروزه کار جزء جدایی ناپذیر زندگی انسانها به حساب میآید. همه روزه افراد، زمان زیادی از وقت خود را در سازمانها میگذرانند. فشارها و خواستههای نامحدود سازمانی، افراد را مجبور میکند که مدام در حال کارکردن باشند، در نتیجه احتمال شکل گیری "اعتیاد به کار" در آنها افزایش مییابد. پدیدۀ اعتیاد به کار به ویژه در مشاغلی بیشتر مشاهده میشود که انرژی ذهنی بالایی را از فرد میطلبد. این پژوهش با هدف بررسی نقش عوامل شخصیتی در شکل گیری اعتیاد به کار در اعضای هیئت علمی دانشگاه صورت گرفته است. روش تحقیق حاضر از نوع توصیفی از شاخۀ همبستگی و مبتنی بر مدل سازی معادلات ساختاری است. جامعۀ آماری تحقیق دربرگیرندۀ اعضای هیئت علمی دانشگاه تهران بوده است؛ بدین منظور 230 پرسش نامه توزیع و جمع آوری گردید. نتایج تحقیق نشان میدهد که ویژگیهای شخصیتی، چون وظیفه شناسی، برون گرایی و گشودگی، رابطۀ مثبتی با اعتیاد به کار دارند؛ در حالی که بین ابعاد شخصیتی روان رنجوری و سازگاری با اعتیاد به کار رابطه معناداری مشاهده نشد.
