Abstract
The aim of present study is to examine the relationship between political tactics and individuals’ problem-solving methods. For this purpose, a sample of 220 was randomly selected from 1000 employees of Shahid Beheshti University. In order to measure the variables, the standard questionnaire of problem-solving method of Helrigel, Slocholm, and Woodman and the political behavior questionnaire of A.J. Dobrin were used. The results indicated that there is a positive relationship between emotional judgment and flattery, political application of the information, the creation of moral obligation, association with influential individuals and establishing a supporting base. However, there is a negative relationship between rational judgment and flattery, political application of information, the creation of moral obligation, association with influential individuals and establishing a supporting base. In addition, there is a parallel relationship between witnessed perception and political application of information, and the creation of moral obligation. On the other hand, a negative relationship exists between intuitive perception. flattery, political application of information, and the creation of moral obligation.
